Mixed media: oil, wax and Caran d’Ache. Custom matting and frame. 2025
"Loose Ends" is a small piece, but its message feels expansive and alive. Working with oil, wax, and Caran d'Ache, I focused on layering color and texture to capture the complexity of sacred spaces - those moments and places where everything feels both unfinished and full of possibility. The warm tones move into cooler shades, with fine lines weaving through to create a rhythm that speaks to the balance between order and chaos. This painting reminds me that even when things feel unresolved, there is beauty in the process, and power in embracing the journey with openness and trust. I hope it encourages you to find calm and strength in your own loose ends.
